Personal Life Coaching for you
Life Coaching is about having someone talking through and working with you to start making your changes now in a way that enables you reach your full potential. It's about helping you bring yourself from where you are now ... to where you want to be in the future.
We have both been working with people for many years. We coach people who are at crossroads points in their lives. We work with people who would want to enjoy life more, people who would like to have more confidence and with people who want more calm and less stress in their lives .
So if you are finding yourself stuck somehow, or if you have been through or have a big change coming up in your life or if you want to push yourself through new levels of challenge, you'll find our coaching really useful. If you have an important choice to make and somehow you can't see the issue clearly yet, coaching will help you get things clear.
For us, coaching is not just about identifying the blockages or changes needed in a situation. It's about helping you to dissolve any issues that are getting in your way and .... once they are gone ... helping you see clearly and then more comfortably moving along your road ahead.
We believe that the best thing about the past is that it is over ... our coaching is about helping you to make the future you want to happen, in whatever way works best for you.
Coaching works best
... when you really want to make a change in your life and are not yet clear where exactly you want to go or the steps you could take to successfully make your change. It works really well for people who are asking themselves ... what do I want to do next, successful business people who know there is more to life and are open to exploring some new directions, people who may already have an idea of where they want to go next and know they will benefit from having someone supporting, encouraging and challenging them along the road they want to walk.
Coaching is for you if you understand you are ultimately responsible for achieving the change you want to make and that the role of your coach is to listen, challenge, advise and support you through the change. Experience shows that no amount of skill and determination on tour part will create change where, at heart, someone doesn't really want to make the change.
What Coaching isn’t
It isn't about us as your coach taking over responsibility from you for the achievement of what you want in your life. It's not about helping people deal with past issues or therapeutic problems. That's for people who specialise in other fields of expertise. It's not about giving pre-packaged solutions to you based on what some other people have found useful in the past. Our belief is that we are all unique and deserve personal attention that deals with our specific needs.
You get all the time you need
A coaching session normally last 90 minutes to two hours. That's because we want to make sure you get all the time you need.
While some people find they want just one session to get things clear in their mind or to clear a simple or to drop a habitual thought pattern they found getting in their way, others find a number of sessions. These are spaced out over time and allow people get clear on what their priorities are, what they want to change, to set goals that are truely meaningful for them and to have the support and discipline of working with us while they fully complete the change they want.
Training and experience really matter
Both Jo and Richard are fully trained and experienced coaches accredited to IINLP. They are also Master practitioners of NLP who have many years experience of helping people make the most of their strengths and helping them get over any beliefs or thoughts that used to trip them up a bit.
